THE MITER SAW

This saw has been outfitted with a wood fence. I screw it into the metal fence, then run a test cut. I end up with a perfect kerf which tells me exactly where my cut line will be and a strong surface for clamping. I can also mark it for individual projects, such as cutting pen blanks.
